You are travelling to a new address to attend some purpose, but you are doubtful of your accurate place. Do open the side menu. Tap “Share location” and then select who to share with and how long to share.

How Google Maps support you? Go to the side menu (three horizontal bars), tap `share location’ and select any number of receivers you want to share your location with, and for how long – this attribute is time-based (anywhere from 10 minutes to 3 days). User can send a sharing permission to a contact over a messaging app or email.

Here the recipient will get an alert from Google Maps, and will be able to see you plot a route in real-time on the smartphone and web version of Google Maps. You will find a tiny icon over the compass on your own map – a reminder that you are actively sharing your location. Remember the location sharing feature should be turned off whenever you want to. Whatever, sharing automatically will end once destination is reached.
